Memphis & Charleston Railroad Historical Society

Welcome to our new website!  The Memphis & Charleston Railroad Historical Society was founded in 2010 to preserve the history of the railroad that existed from 1846 to 1898, running from Memphis, Tennessee to Stevenson, Alabama.  Our mission is to preserve the artifacts and information related to the M&CRR and its predecessor lines.

We are constantly searching for documents and artifacts for our archive.  If you have something you think should be included, please contact us!

We are happy to preserve originals or scans of photos and documents before they are lost forever.
